Tri-M Honor Society

Buffalo High School Chapter #2003

What is Tri-M?

The Tri-M® Music Honor Society is a program of the National Association for Music Education(NAfME), which focuses on creating future leaders in music education and music advocacy.

Why Tri-M?

Buffalo High School Music is a community. We value one another, and support one another. Tri-M is a group of leaders at each level and from all of our ensembles that organize philanthropic opportunities, create a vision for the future, and support great music at Buffalo High School in various ways.

Who can be in Tri-M?

Any students in Band, Choir or Orchestra at Buffalo High School are eligible to apply for membership in our chapter.

Chapter #2003

The Buffalo High School Chapter of Tri-M Honor Society was started by retired BHS Choir Director Mr. Walsh in 1987. Since then, Tri-M has collaborated with Buffalo Community Theater by staging “Broadway in Buffalo” each May, presented an “All-School Talent Show” each school year, and ushered for countless concerts all while supporting the greater Buffalo community through food drives, fundraisers, and volunteering.

Community. Music. Philanthropy.
